We are looking for an experienced and collaborative General Manager to join our senior leadership team. This is a key role within the organisation, leading on the operational and financial management of the company and supporting the delivery of our ambitious programme of deaf-led theatre. 

We are looking for someone with experience in senior management, strong financial and organisational skills and an understanding of the theatre sector. The role will play a key part in ensuring the smooth running and long-term sustainability of the company.

This role has responsibility for supporting the operational and financial wellbeing and smooth business administration of Deafinitely Theatre, strategically and practically. 

The General Manager will: 

  • lead on operations, support the running of the organisation and work closely with the Executive Director and Artistic Director

  • play a key role in helping us deliver our exciting programme of deaf-led theatre

  • have experience in senior management, be confident managing people and projects and have strong organisational and financial skills

  • have an understanding of theatre or the arts sector, good deaf awareness and a commitment to equality and inclusion
